I’ve lived enough lives to know one was never going to be enough.

I create. I build. I write. I invent. And I document the journey.

The Journey

Long before the titles, the projects, and the plans, there was curiosity. I wanted to see things, make things, understand things, and experience life for myself.

I never followed one path for very long. If something interested me, I wanted to know how it worked. Sometimes that meant learning a trade. Sometimes it meant building something. Sometimes it simply meant going somewhere I had never been before.

The Barber

Barbering became one of the first things I learned to build with my own hands. What started as a skill became a business, and eventually a world of its own. The shop taught me about people, discipline, presentation, conversation, and independence.

The barber shop became more than a place to cut hair. It gave me a front-row seat to people from every walk of life. Everybody had a story, an idea, a problem, or a plan. I listened. I learned. And somewhere along the way, I realized my mind was always working on something beyond the chair.

The Ideas

Ideas have followed me for most of my life. I would see the way something was being done and immediately wonder if there was another way to do it. Sometimes the idea became something I built. Sometimes it stayed in a notebook. Sometimes I watched the world eventually build something remarkably close to what I had imagined years before.
